The Butler Texas Young Masters program is a joint initiative between the Texas Cultural Trust and the Texas Commission on the Arts providing scholarship grants to 8th through 11th grade students who demonstrate excellence in the arts. Every biennium, fifteen students receive the title of Butler Texas Young Master and are awarded $10,000 to enhance and build their professional artistic study in music, theatre, dance, visual arts, literary arts, and other artistic disciplines.
These scholarships provide incredibly talented students with opportunities they otherwise may not be able to access. The Texas Cultural Trust celebrates each new class of Young Masters with a performance-filled awards show that highlights their talent and creativity. Join us April 13 in Austin to recognize the Texas Young Masters Class of 2026.
